Conversion to diesel engine OM612.981 direct injection with Bosch Common Rail system, 5cylinder 2.7liter, watercooled intercooler, VTG turbocharger, with standard ECU for 163HP, 400Nm New Mercedes engine, new Mercedes Benz electronic controlled 5-speed automatic gearbox for higher torque, adapted shifting specs., new torque converter for higher torque. Lock up clutch engages automatically at higher revs avoiding power loss of the torque converter. Shifting in automatic modus, or in manual modus (+/-) (= Tiptronic). Totally rebuilt track assemblies, with new Camoplast tracks, new road wheels and new sprockets. Al frame sections new painted. All rubber torsion bearings (22pcs.) in the track girders renewed. Swing arms controlled and changed where necessary.

Hydraulic tilt system: Additional hydraulic cylinder above articulated steering for tilting front and rear car, lockable, including electromagnetic controlled hydraulic valve and all necessary installation, switches at dashboard area.

Diff lock system for front and rear car: Consists of a special cast aluminium housing for the diff, special multiple disc clutch, oil hydraulic piston, special shaft and gear wheels. Provides 100% traction on each track on drivers demand. Includes an electrohydraulic activation system and a switch and control light at the dashboard.

Extra heater – Webasto coolant heater, installed,

programmable timer heats engine coolant and interior.
