Gisbert Hindennach came fourth in the Berlin-Breslau-Rally in 2001:
The favourite of the BBR 2001 was Gisbert Hindennach who drove a Unimog 435 - as he already did the year before and which had been modified by Hellgeth Engineering. Although he could not repeat the success he had in 2000, he came fourth in the rally, in which 22 trucks took part, due to several difficulties.
Christoph Wieland came first in the "Lila Tagen Passau":
Congratulations to Christoph Wieland! He came first in the competition of the "Lila Tage 2001". His Unimog 417 had been designed by Hellgeth Engineering and had been successful before that in the "Allrad Tage Stetten".

Hellgeth Engineering has been contracted by Siemens:
Ceramics, part of the Siemens company, orders Hellgeth Engineering to do reconstruction works on the tractor truck Mack model 2002, as this truck has to agree with StVZO and the European guidelines in order to be admitted to German traffic. The main focus on the reconstruction work to be done concentrates on the brake system and the electrical system.

Team Unimog came 8th in the BBR 2002.
The Team Unimog took voluntarily part in the car class, although they had been allowed by the organiser to take part in the truck class. While our Unimog 418 broke down due to hydro-lock, our Trophy-Unimog 417 with Christoph Wieland and Jürgen Hellgeth came 8th and was 5 hours before the first truck.
